I grew up in Kennesaw, Georgia just 30 minutes from Atlanta. After leaving Atlanta and dropping out of college i found myself struggling with what to do. I knew i loved creating art, i took pictures of friends, family and had so many disposable cameras. I got my first camera when i was about 12 years old and i took pictures of everything. My trips to the mall, school, my friends. I loved documenting. Capturing the simple, mundane, everyday moments that were part of my life.. Human connection is something i have been drawn to since i can remember.
I found archives from Woodstock '69 and it changed my life, the wamrth, the connection, the feeling those photos gave me. I will never forget it. That festival inspires me everyday. I love dirty grungey scenes, nostalgic and homey a tombstone cowboy kind of feeling.
I'm inspired by cinema, playboys, warm colors, my family, nature, poetry, romance, the 70s, vintage cars or motorcycles, tattoos and history.
